Method
- Preheat oven to 350 °F. Line a 8 or 9 inch round or square baking pan with parchment paper and brush melted butter all over, and set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, add flour, baking powder, and salt and whisk until well combined. Set aside.
- In another mixing bowl, mash bananas and add vanilla bean extract, sugar, and eggs. Whisk until well incorporated.
- Add the banana mixture to the flour mixture, and whisk until well combined.
- Lastly, add the melted and cooled butter and whisk until well incorporated.
- Pour the batter to a lined baking pan and bake at 350 °F for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted at the center of the cake comes out clean.
Notes
*Baking time will vary based on the type and size of pan you use. Keep a watchful eye when the baking time hits close to 20 minutes.
