If you love tuna, you will enjoy my healthy tuna salad recipe that takes only 5 minutes to make! It is made with a handful of ingredients and really easy to put together. My favorite thing about this recipe aside from it tasting soo delicious, is the way I feel after I eat it. It keeps me full for hours at a time, and I feel so light each time I eat this salad.
Quality tuna really makes a difference with this tuna salad. My all time favorite tuna I like to use for this recipe is wildplanet albacore tuna. We all know that tuna has traces of mercury in it, which is why it’s something I won’t eat every day. What I like about wildplanet tuna is that they are pole and line caught which supports local habitats of the ocean, and fish population. Not only that, but they are one of the few companies who are transparent in sharing that they’re 3rd party tested for mercury. The also don’t have any fillers, and as a result, you can genuinely taste the quality!
The simple flavors I add really bring out the pureness of the tuna taste. I don’t know what it is about tuna and arugula, but they go so well together! Also, I can’t say enough good things about arugula and all the benefits it has for your body. I like making this salad midday for lunch, but you can also make it for dinner. Feel free to double or triple the recipe. I hope you make this salad, and please share your thoughts if you do. Bon apetit!
